The purpose of IRAQ VETERANS FOR JUSTICE is to create a non-partisan grassroots movement to indict G.W. Bush & R. Cheney for one offense and, only one offense:  the fraudulent premeditated murder of at least 4,500 Americans in Iraq.

AND THE TRUTH IS:

G.W. Bush and R. Cheney lied to the Congress; lied to the people, and lied to our soldiers about the REASON for invading the sovereign country of Iraq. They told us everything but the truth. And like all liars, they kept changing their story every time each of the lies was uncovered.  The TRUTH is that they invaded for one reason and ONLY one reason.  That reason was to dominate the world's oil supply, and by that, I do not mean that they just wanted to get the oil out of Iraq.

No, they wanted much more.

Iraq sits in the middle of the largest oil reserves in the world. They knew that if they took over Iraq, and permanently stationed many U.S. Airforce bases there, that they could militarily dominate the whole of the Middle East, not only to guarantee oil for the United States from Iraq and from all of the Arab countries, but also denying access to that oil by rivals such as China and Russia.

It is really as simple as that.  Our men and women did not join the military to get oil.  They signed up for all the fraudulent reasons given by Bush/Cheney, and they died.  That is a crime of murder; premeditated murder because Bush knew that americans would die because of his lies. 

And if we let this crime stand, we will encourage future Presidents to lie us into other unjust wars. We must act to right this horrible wrong and bring Bush and Cheney to JUSTICE.  This is possible IF enough people demand it. We need you in this struggle.
